I wanted to let you know about some exciting and positive news here at Castle Marinas, which came into effect on 1 Dec 2021, when we were acquired by Aquavista, the UK’s premier inland marina operator, who already have a mix of leisure and residential moorings at 18 inland and coastal marinas across the UK.

Over a period of time the owners of Castle Marinas had been looking for a strong business partner, well positioned to invest in the business going forward, and which would enable continued improvements for our customers for the future.

After a long and detailed process, we found the right partner in Aquavista.

Both Castle Marinas and Aquavista have proven track records of providing high-quality experiences to our customers. By combining forces, we’ll be able to learn from each other to create an even more successful unified company, resulting in improvements for customers across the board. This is our key focus and one we are passionate about delivering.

This acquisition doesn’t affect the relationship that Castle or Aquavista customers and crew have with us all in any way. It’s very much ‘business as usual’ on the marinas and we will work together to further improve the marina experiences.

In the new year we will be in touch, via a survey in the first instance, to gather our customers’ views on how we can further improve things at the marinas. Please be patient until then and hold off on emailing improvement suggestions for now, while we work through the next weeks. We will be back to you in the new year and look forward to gathering your views at that point.

This is an exciting continuation of our successful journey so far and we are confident that the future is a bright one.
